Criterion Systems is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to support a contract in Washington DC.  The Contractor will provide technical and administrative support resources to develop and maintain applications and infrastructure supporting the mission and programmatic requirements of the Office of Environment, Health, Safety and Security (EHSS) which is a part of the Department of Energy (DOE). EHSS is the DOE’s central organization responsible for health, safety, environment, and security; providing corporate-level leadership and strategic vision to coordinate and integrate these vital programs. EHSS is responsible for policy development and technical assistance; safety analysis; and corporate safety and security1 programs. The DOE Associate Under Secretary for Environment, Health, Safety and Security advises the DOE Under Secretary for Management and Performance on all matters related to environment, health, safety and security across the DOE complex.


  • The Individual hired must demonstrate a minimum of ten years of experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems and their data. Individual must demonstrate proficiency in developing, monitoring and conducting testing of cyber security plans and controls using government approved tools and methods. The individual will document test result, develop and recommend corrective actions, and develop and document residual risk and risk assessment statements.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Information Technology with an emphasis in Cyber Security or Information Assurance or similar degree.
  • Certifications: GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent.
  • US Citizenship
  • Active Top Secret (TS) or DOE Q clearance
