Job Description

Under the direction of the Contractor’s Program Manager, the Business Analyst Military Systems Support Analyst II supports the USAACE G3 Operations in writing, coordinating, and issuing Higher Headquarters (HHQ) Warning Orders, Operations Orders, Fragmentary Orders, Annexes, Appendices, and Attachments to appropriate USAACE organizations. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages and tracks documents and products through the Virtual Work Environment (VWE) with 95% accuracy.  
  • Performs strategic analysis, develops long-range planning actions, and maintains continuity of plans and actions from inception through execution.  
  • Develops executive (2-star level) briefings relating to Army Aviation training operations and program management within TRADOC.
  • Serves as an action officer on the USAACE G3 staff and assists the USAACE G3 in coordinating and synchronizing training efforts across USAACE and tenant organizations.  
  • Provides methodology development and evaluation, process re-engineering across all phases, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, or information system development methods and practices. 
  • Applies process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, and re-engineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects.  
  • Performs activity and data modeling, develops modern business methods, identifies best practices, and creates and assesses performance measurements.  
  • Provides group facilitation, interviewing, and training, and provides additional forms of knowledge transfer.


Must be US citizen and hold an active Secret Clearance.



  • BA/BS degree required



  • Must possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all systems assigned to the Aviation portfolio
  • Extensive knowledge of Aviation operations and employment and DOTMLPF assessments
  • Strong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration skills in a rapidly changing, high intensity, mission-oriented work environment
  • Knowledge of Aviation Transformation and the future of the Aviation Branch
  • Working knowledge of computer operations and MS Office software
  • Working knowledge of the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army) and other logistics related systems



  • Must have operational experience and familiarity with writing operational orders
  • Must have served in a USAACE staff or Directorate staff position
  • Must have experience with the US Army’s Aviation Restructure Initiative (ARI)
  • Preferred knowledge and experience of US Army acquisition and Unit Fielding processes
  • Requires a minimum of 15 years’ experience; 3 years of specific Army Aviation experience
  • Army Operations Experience
  • Familiarity with and ability to work with a myriad of training management systems to include but not limited to:

Army Training Management System

Digital Training Management System

Strategic Management System
