Nor-Cal Beverage Co., Inc. is seeking a Payroll Coordinator for our Corporate Office in West Sacramento, California.

Position Summary: This is a hybrid position consisting of a blend of accounts receivable and payroll processing. This position provides a variety of administrative and clerical work for the Finance Department working in Accounts Receivable, Collections and Payroll Departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.
Update employee times with PTO (Paid Time Off).
Input information for new hires in timekeeping system.
Input Status Change Notices for all employees in timekeeping system.
Input miscellaneous changes for employees (i.e. W-4, direct deposit requests, etc.).
Audit all HR changes.
Audit all employee timecards bi-weekly for processing of Payroll.
Help with miscellaneous payroll spreadsheets.
Assist employees and managers with questions and concerns.
Payroll research as needed.
Issue miscellaneous checks.
Assist as needed with bi-weekly payroll.
Process one full payroll unassisted bi-monthly
File paperwork as needed.
Scanning of employee documents.
Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.
All other duties as assigned.
Work scheduled shift, weekends, and extended hours as required.
Regular and punctual attendance.
To perform this job successfully, must be able to perform each fundamental task listed above satisfactorily.
Back up for posting payments received for the company.
Set up new customers and items into the route accounting software system.
Modify customer accounts and items in the route accounting software system.
Must have firm knowledge of the ADP payroll software.
Good knowledge of Excel and Word.
Knowledge of Kronos, AS400.
Attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent customer service.
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of high school diploma. Some college or AA degree desirable but experience is equally important.
3-5 years payroll experience for a mid-sized to large company.
Language Skills: English required.
