Job Description

Corporate Cleaning Group specializes in cleaning high-traffic, multi-use, unique facilities like schools, churches and medical facilities.  We use proprietary methods and a team-cleaning approach that will benefit from the leadership training and experiences you've had in the military.

Our staffing model works best for those with daytime employment who are looking for additional income or leadership experience.  Our facilities are cleaned in 3-6 hour shifts in the evening/night, 3-6 nights per week.

Our customer locations in Charlotte are in the areas of:  Weddington, Matthews, Myers Park, Huntersville, University.  We will work with you to conveniently place you to your work or home.

Team Lead:  Player/Coach position who will work a typical cleaning shift in an area vacuuming, mopping, removing trash, dusting, cleaning restrooms, glass and surface but will also:

  • Receive feedback and correct deficiencies from inspections
  • Secure building and shut down facility after shift
  • Secure and protect keys and building access while in the facility
  • Communicate issues that cannot be resolved during the shift
  • Direct and coordinate staff
  • Operate, maintain and clean equipment and notify supervisor of equipment failure

Supervisor:  Oversees cleaning staff at multiple smaller sites or one multi-site facility.  Supervisors are also Player/Coaches, but with emphasis on Coach.  Responsible to insure all job tasks are completed and inspected and all matters communicated.

  • Meet and orient new staff at location
  • Train and retrain staff
  • Ensure staff is working effectively, efficiently and within budgeted hours
  • Perform inspections and follow up inspections
  • Work side-by-side with cleaners to fill in or complete shifts
  • Assist with detail cleaning as time allows
  • Insure supplies and equipment are well organized and in working order
  • Organize, coordinate and communicate staff needs to maintain appropriate staffing levels

Night Manager:  Managerial position overseeing multiple facilities in a given region.  Must have leadership qualities to build and maintain an effective team

  • Manage supervisors, leads and cleaners in all aspects of the company's requirements and policies
  • Identify and develop supervisors and leads to take expanded roles
  • Management of quality control systems
  • Define and complete scheduled inspections
  • Conduct job orientation and training for start up accounts
  • Direct and manage start up activities for new accounts
  • Train and retrain staff
  • Escalate problems, issues, concerns and policy infractions through proper channels
  • Maintain budgets at each account
  • Monitor payroll hours
  • Work side-by-side with staff to reinforce expectations and build team atmosphere
  • Develop job cards and checklists
  • Strategize and suggest best way to clean a new account or area

Job Requirements

  • Communicate with customer staff and CCG colleagues in English
  • Pass drug screening and background check
  • Legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Posses valid drivers license and have reliable transportation
  • Most locations will require you to lift 40-50 pounds and navigate stairs
