General Job Summary:


To develop, build and retain a network of qualified medical providers that will provide services to Veterans for Compensation & Pension (“C&P”) Medical Disability Examinations (“MDE”) based on our contractual obligation with the Department of Veteran Affairs (the “VA”).


Essential Job Functions:


  1. Make unscripted connection calls to independent medical providers for the purpose of recruiting them to VES’s nationwide network of providers;
  2. Create and maintain a growing pipeline of providers candidates;
  3. Support provider throughout onboarding process.
  4. Document and maintain detailed notes for communication and exchanges with all potential and current providers;
  5. Negotiate with potential providers, to include contracted pay rates for their exams;
  6. Facilitate the completion of required documents in a timely manner;
  7. Consistently meets daily, weekly, and monthly provider contact quotas;
  8. Achieve superior level of productivity in a demanding and high energy environment; and
  9. Communicate and maintain a professional working relationship with department and team members in a friendly, but focused, environment.


Additional Duties and Responsibilities:


  1. Assist other departments with contacting providers regarding rates, billing and other issues associated with the providers and/or their staff;
  2. Work closely with the Scheduling Department to fill Open Service Requests (“OSRs”) in a timely manner;
  3. Attend meetings as directed;
  4. Work effectively within a team dynamic;
  5. Adapt to new instructions, requests or procedures as provided;
  6. Maintain a high sense of urgency at all times;
  7. Maintain the confidentiality of Veteran’s and provider’s records; and
  8. Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  1. Casual office environment, with some exposure to mild noise from office equipment and moderate noise generated by staff members; and
  2. Frequently utilizes phone, fax machine, computer, printer, and copy machines.


Minimum Level of Preparation and Training:

Some college required. Business or Marketing degree preferred.


Sales and/or recruitment experience required. Medical equipment sales, Medical software sales, Pharmaceutical Sales, Physician Recruitment preferred.
