POSITION DESCRIPTION: As part of our Client Service team, you will handle incoming service requests from clients, provide information and pest control options to prospective clients, dispatch service requests to field staff and support internal office operations as needed.
Essential Job Duties: · Handle incoming pest inquiries in a fast-paced environment from existing and one-time service clients. · Describe programming and pricing options and schedule service visits based on company standards. · Use client database to locate client information, create new client records, dispatch service requests, process credit card transactions, and help customers understand billing and payment options. · Coordinate payment expectations/arrangements with overdue contract clients. · Support internal and external clients using a variety of administrative support processes and procedures to ensure optimum client experience outcomes. · Provide additional administrative support to office operations for one or more assigned responsibilities, such as issuing certificates of insurance, assembling training materials, special mailings, and ordering office supplies. · Project a professional image; is friendly, pleasant, and courteous when dealing with internal and external clients. · Communicate effectively with internal and external clients. · Cooperate with company management by performing any other duties as assigned
Job Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum Requirements · High school diploma or equivalent · Ability to read, legibly speaks, and understands English; must be able to communicate clearly and effectively to clients and Plunkett’s employees; including strong telephone skills (tone, clarity, grammar, and phone etiquette). · The ability to work M-F with some overtime required in the summer months. · The ability to maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high call volume. · Proficiency in MS Office applications · Must be able to work in a team environment and develop positive relationships with co-workers. · Favorable drug test and acceptable background record is also required.
Preferred Requirements · Previous call center or customer service experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment · Communicates through telephone conversations, face-to-face interactions, texts and email · The ability to lift and carry up to 10lbs · Sitting for long periods of time; occasional bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching · Read printed materials and a computer screen · Stamina needed to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions · Must possess the mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment including a computer, keyboard, and telephone
