Monitors and responds to complex technical problems utilizing a variety of VTC, to include Polycom, Collaboration hardware and software testing tools and techniques
Provides primary interface with contractor support service groups or provides internal analysis and support to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance
May provide network server support
Requires extensive knowledge of PC/network communications hardware/software in a multi-protocol environment, and network management software
May function as lead job providing guidance and training for less experienced technicians.
Manage team of tier 1 & tier 2 VTC technicians including personnel evaluations, timecard tracking, and tasking of day-to-day duties.
Work with Vendors to evaluate and report on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the VTC infrastructure and Conference rooms.
Maintain on call duty phone to ensure Rich Media service coverage as required by contract
Manage ticket system queue to ensure all open requests are being completed according to contract requirements.
Commitment to maintaining the highest standard of customer service with outstanding written and oral communication
Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Defense customer.
Active/current DoD TS+ clearance
Polycom CVE or equivalent, IAT II
