Summary

Delta Star Inc. is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Customer Project Coordinator to lead customer projects from order creation through commissioning and post-delivery support. If you excel at coordinating cross-functional teams, communicating clearly, and delivering a consistent, high-quality customer experience, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do

As a Customer Project Coordinator, you’ll be the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring smooth project execution across engineering, production, operations, logistics, and quality. You’ll manage communication, track milestones, identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain accurate documentation from start to finish. Your work will directly support efficient project delivery and a strong customer partnership.

A Day in the Life

Your day will include managing project schedules, coordinating internal teams, and keeping customers informed with timely, accurate updates. You’ll handle change orders, review documentation, escalate issues when needed, and maintain detailed project records. Whether you’re preparing internal briefings, supporting customer inspections, or aligning teams on upcoming deadlines, you’ll ensure every project stays on track and every customer feels supported throughout the process.

Specific Duties
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules; track deliverables and milestone completion.
  • Serve as the main communication channel with customers for all project updates, escalations, and changes.
  • Identify, document, and process scope changes; prepare change orders and secure approvals.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and Quality.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of customer communications, commitments, and project milestones.
  • Review and validate invoices and project documentation for accuracy.
  • Communicate change order impacts on scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Support customer visits, inspections, testing, and on-site activities as required.
  • Ensure internal teams remain informed of requirements, deadlines, and key developments.
  • Proactively identify risks or delays and recommend or implement corrective actions.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, program coordination, or customer-facing roles-preferably within manufacturing, industrial, or engineered-to-order environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
