Job Description

Job Summary:

The Director of Operations will lead and optimize manufacturing operations across Sweet Additions' Northwest Wisconsin facilities, specializing in oat, tapioca, and rice sweetener production. This executive position reports directly to the President and is responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring product quality, and maintaining efficient production across multiple plants.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality control, and facility maintenance
  • Direct and mentor plant managers at each facility, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies across all facilities
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational strategies with company goals and market demands
  • Manage capital expenditure projects and resource allocation across facilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, customers, and industry partners
  • Lead sustainability initiatives and environmental compliance efforts
  • Drive innovation in processing technologies and manufacturing methods
