Lakeshore Management, Inc. has been a private operator of mobile home communities throughout the United States, owning and operating both 55+ and all-age communities since 1998. We believe that quality customer service and well-maintained communities are the keys to Lakeshore’s success.  We currently own and operate in 12 states.

Lakeshore’s sole focus is on manufactured home communities and we have an experienced, dedicated team to manage our communities. We take special pride in cultivating, training, and retaining effective and proactive facility and community managers.

Lakeshore Management is seeking qualified Regional Team members, Property Managers, Assistant Property Managers and Maintenance Technicians for multiple locations throughout the country. Seeking full time Maintenance Technicians – Under the direction of The Community and Regional Property Manager, Members of the maintenance team ensure that all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and properly maintained and all common areas are maintained in a clean aesthetically appealing and disinfected condition. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: -    Routinely walks property checking for problems and reports back to supervisors. -    Completes daily work orders as scheduled. -    Performs minor maintenance replacement and repairs in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other building repairs through daily scheduled work orders. -    Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment. -    Must be able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment. -    Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.   Job Requirements: OPERATING SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: -    High school diploma or equivalency required -    Requires a minimum of two (2) years general experience in building trades, plumbing (interior and exterior required), repair and replacement maintenance or handy work.  ** Snow plowing a plus in the Northeast and Midwest Regions ** -    Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required -    Must be flexible, willing to work on call and after hours for emergency situations in the community -    Able to adapt in a fast paced and ever changing environment Ability to lift 50 – 100 lbs following appropriate safety procedures; Work in an upright standing position for long periods of time; Crawl in small and tight spaces; Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (e.g. heat, cold, wind, rain); Walk and climb stairs; Handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment; Reach with hands and arms; Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information by means of the spoken and written word; Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions; Repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers; Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.   Applicants must have a valid driver license, submit to a criminal background check and have an acceptable driving record.
