ABC-CLIO has an opportunity for the right person to make a difference providing order management and technical support for our award-winning educational and reference online and print products. The Customer Service Representative Tech processes orders, provides technical support to customers for online digital products, maintains professional telephone and email communication, and resolves customer issues/complaints.     ABC-CLIO seeks individuals who thrive in a collaborative, collegial, and challenging work environment that rewards initiative, critical thinking, and collective problem solving. We promote creative engagement, the desire to make a difference in our industry and professions, and the pursuit of knowledge and lifelong learning.   The ideal candidate will have: A strong analytical and technical background with a minimum of 1 year of customer service experience, including heavy email volume (required). Experience with electronic processing and fulfillment systems. Minimum of a high school diploma; bachelors’ degree preferred. Intermediate MS Office Excel knowledge, database, and general computer experience; and ability to learn new computer programs. Strong verbal/written communications skills. Time management and problem solving abilities, applying initiative and sound judgment.
