ABC-CLIO is looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional with a passion for education. Reporting to the Vice President, Sales & Customer Success, and located in our Santa Barbara headquarters, the Customer Success Specialist (CSS) is responsible for managing, growing, and retaining our customer base within a defined territory. The CSS will be a customer advocate and will be involved in all aspects of customer onboarding, support, account management, and training.  This position will play a critical role in building and expanding lasting relationships with ABC- CLIO customers and partners, and providing expert support to users of our solutions. The CSS role works closely with educational leaders throughout the country; helping them affect student achievement while e nsuring overall customer success and satisfaction.    Customer Success Responsibilities Include: Renewals – directly responsible for renewing all assigned accounts Upselling – selling additional products to existing customers Cross - Selling – leverage referrals to sell to new schools in a district with existing customers Onboarding – work closely with district and school leaders to plan effective implementations and coordinate with teams at ABC-CLIO on delivery Engagement – analyze usage data and work with customers to build usage Lead Follow-up -- qualify and respond to all inbound leads Requirements: College degree or equivalent experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally with other ABC-CLIO teams Strong organizational skills Detail-oriented problem-solver who is excited about helping users make the most out of our products.
