Summary: Provide labor and effort to assist in the accurate and timely receipt of goods, consolidation of warehoused goods, and replenishment of pick locations as well as other necessary warehouse functions such as pulling customer orders for next day delivery, replenishment, housekeeping and inventory control. Depending on the size of the operation and the shift, the associate may be required; to unload, receive and put away upwards of thirty trailers per day and requested to replenish upwards of 100 pick slots per day; prepare the operation for the nightly picking and packing upwards of 40,000 cases and potentially equal amounts of bottles; replenish pick locations to ensure enough inventory exists to support the shipping functions; load upwards of 80 trucks per night, with a goal time for completion to allow the delivery drivers to be successful at the account level. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Safely and properly unload a trailer of product, verify the load for accuracy and stage for put away. • Conduct proper put away of goods in the warehouse ensuring safety and proper rack utilization. • Meet individual productivity and accuracy standards as identified through Labor Management (LM) metrics. • Required to safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) to include forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachment, and/or clamper truck or attachment. • Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns and tools for the purpose of maintaining proper inventory levels and proper location of goods in the warehouse. • Assist in the process of putting away returned product from previous day’s deliveries. • Performs cleaning and maintenance duties as directed. • Assist in physical inventories and cycle counting as directed. • Observes safe product handling techniques. Cooperates with management and peers alike. Is punctual and consistently available for work. • As needed, pre-pick and stage odd ball cases and bottles for use in the night shipping. • Pull and stage large customer orders in demand, such as Costco, Total Wine, etc. • Interact with associates during the hand-off from shift to shift. Frequently will have interaction with delivery personnel, and the early morning receiving crew. • Pick and pack orders using label picking, ring scanners, voice directed picking or paper picket tickets. • Performs various other duties, as assigned. Summary: Supervises and coordinates activities of workers concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, and inventorying, shipping products of beverage products by performing the following duties. Consistently honors supplier lead-time. • Maintains purchasing schedule, which determines frequency of procurement for each brand; maintains purchase allowance schedule and alters procurement frequency in response to supplier programs and special offers. • Processes all approved special order requests immediately and forwards order number and estimated time of arrival of product to marketing. • Provides pre-determined buy-in coverage for supplier price increases, or changes in supplier price supports, in a manner that encompasses increased demand before the price increase and maximum windfall following the increase. • Maintains balance of inventory between markets through review of sales performance against forecast, supplier buy-ins, and early or delayed shipments. Provides coverage for short-term inventory deficiencies between markets. • Responds to back order issues, imminent revisions to forecasts and transfer requests with appropriate quickness. Forwards all pertinent information regarding supplier outages, load delays, damage, or shipping errors to appropriate marketing personnel in a timely manner. • Integrates pool orders to and from other distributors, and executes transfer upon receipt. Honors all Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and other applicable regulations regarding transfers. • Maintains current, complete supplier files with regard to lead time, shipping terms, contact names, warehouse locations, and any other information pertinent to Republic’s business relationship with each supplier. • Regularly reviews and maintains product and forecast files for changes in product status. Selects and assigns freight carrier and mode from acceptable options, with consideration given to speed and cost required. Maintains current estimated time of arrival information at all times, and a written record of lost, delayed or damaged shipments. Summary: Drives truck over established route to deliver products and collects money from customers by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned) • Properly conducts a pre and post trip inspection, notating any vehicle defects. Abides by the DOT hours of service rules and regulations for their license type. • Safely operates a delivery vehicle ranging in size from a 16’ straight truck to a class A tractor-trailer from company warehouse to customer premises and back. The potential for dedicated overnight routes exist. • Accurately delivers invoiced products by bottle, case, pallet or hand-stack from the delivery truck and placing said merchandise into customer account. As required, may place product in designated areas such as coolers or shelves as customer location. Responsible for transfer of product from location to location when needed. • Verifies receipt of correct order with the customer by checking product type and size against the provided invoice, obtains customer signature and payment if necessary, for goods received. Listens to and resolves service complaints. • Collects money from customers and records transactions on customer receipt. Collects COD payments from COD customers as specified on the invoice. • Adjusts invoices noting errors or shortages of product and returns extra product to the warehouse. • Ensures physical security of truck at all times. • Handles approximately 350 cases in a given day. May handle up to 700 cases during times of increased account activity. • Delivers to approximately 19 accounts daily. May deliver to up to 30 accounts during times of increased account activity. • Covers approximately 160 miles daily, miles occasionally increase anywhere from 200 to 300 miles during times of increased account activity or out of town routes. • Supervises one or more helpers when pre-determine case or stop levels require. • Provide feedback to transportation management in terms of route changes or route concerns. • May utilize a smartphone for interaction with HOS service software and/or driver monitoring programs.
