Piedmont Airlines, Inc. operates as an American Eagle carrier and is a wholly owned  subsidiary of American Airlines (AAG).

Our airline was founded by Mr. Richard Henson in 1931 as Henson Flying Service, a fixed-base operator. In 1962 scheduled airline service commenced as Hagerstown Commuter. Today, Piedmont operates nearly 400 daily departures to 55 cities throughout the eastern United States and Canada. We currently operate deHavilland DHC-8 turbo prop aircraft and Embraer-145 regional jets.

Our corporate headquarters is located in Salisbury, Maryland which is located about one hundred miles southeast of Baltimore, Maryland. Piedmont Airlines employs 6,000+ aviation professionals.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Directly supervises the work of GSE Mechanics. Receives priorities from the Shop Manager and assigns work. Monitors the quality of work performed. Performs disciplinary action as required. Provides instruction and assistance as required to GSE Mechanics. Opens and finishes work orders in FleetFocus as required. Insures that parts are properly recorded and issued to work orders. Other duties as assigned. Principal Duties and Responsibilities : Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) job duties may vary from preventive maintenance to repairs. A technician makes routine inspections, documents inspections and repairs, performs scheduled maintenance and runs tests after making repairs or performing maintenance on our fleet of Embraer-145s.
