Kane's was founded in 1948 by Maurice A. Rothman. We are proud of our roots in Florida and our more than 65 years of serving our customers.

Kane's is and has been the largest furniture retailer doing business solely in the State of Florida since 1948. Our trading zone area stretches over 300 miles along the Gulf of Mexico, through Central Florida and to the Atlantic seaboard. Our current 18 store locations comprise more than 1,000,000 sq. ft. of furniture retail display space in eight major Central Florida markets including Tampa, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Port Charlotte, Ocala, Melbourne, Ft Myers and Orlando. Based in Pinellas Park, FL, Kane's central warehouse, distribution center, corporate headquarters and fourteen furniture super stores are major employers for hundreds of local Florida residents
