Specific internship opportunities include: Refined Product Sales Team: This intern will have the opportunity to participate in orientation and training sessions across the company’s refined products departments in order to understand how teams interact and support refined product sales. Education / Experience / Skill Requirements:  Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business required.  Minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience, including broad business exposure, required.  CPA and/or 1-2 years experience with a public accounting firm desired.  Oil or natural gas accounting experience a plus. Advanced computer literacy (Microsoft Excel and Word a must, SQL and Access a plus). Other duties may be assigned. Routes same day emergency oil deliveries. Assigns same day oil deliveries to the various carriers for optimum delivery effectiveness. Makes on the spot decisions such as same day deliveries, cutting back orders due to no gauge readings, etc. Instructs carriers on any special delivery instructions. Backs-up the other dispatchers when they are sick or on vacation. Interacts with Customer Care group providing information for customers who request it. Keeps Director of Operations and Dispatch Manager advised of any issues as they arise. Specific Duties:  To assist anyone calling in questioning deliveries already scheduled. To assist drivers calling in when they come across a problem at a delivery site (no super, fill line blocked, customer refuses delivery, etc.) To advise the Transportation Department of problems drivers encounter when delivering and (e.g., bad fill boxes, VA not working, fill line leaking, etc.) To keep in constant communication with the carriers throughout the course of the day.
