KIHOMAC

Since our founding in 2003, KIHOMAC has established an outstanding track record of support for the requirements of our US Government customers, as evidenced by our portfolio of “Exceptional” rated Contractor Performance Assessment Reporting System reports. Now, with nearly 100 people, we provide program management and system engineering services, conduct engineering analysis, and develop sustainment solutions for aerospace vehicles.

KIHOMAC is a veteran owned SBA certified SDB & 8(a) company with a projected graduation in 2014. However, we operate with a mature business practice. We have a rigorous accounting system that is Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audited and approved, and we submit annual provisional billing rates and incurred cost to DCAA for audit and approval. Our business results, in the form of financial statements, are independently audited by an outside accounting firm.

KIHOMAC is a different kind of company. We firmly believe that, if we take care of our people, they will serve our customer well, and the customer will reward us with new and recurring business. We have a first rate employee benefit program that includes medical, dental and vision coverage with low employee contributions, company-provided term life, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D), short and long term disability insurances, and a 401K offering Vanguard Funds with company matched contributions. Few organizations our size would underwrite university education at the Bachelors, Masters, and PhD levels, but we do this now and have done so since the very start of the company. We pay our employees competitive salary and outstanding benefits, which improves the retention of our workforce.

We proudly provide lifecycle support for the United States Air Force’s (USAF) premier attack aircraft, the A-10 Thunderbolt II, through contracts with the System Program Office (SPO) and the Development System Office (DSO) at Hill and Wright Patterson Air Force Bases. We also provide similar acquisition, engineering, and technical data support for the Army’s C-27J Spartan medium tactical airlift aircraft acquisition, F-16, T-38, and QF-4 sustainment programs. We provide systems engineering and integration services to Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Department of Homeland Security, and the Intelligence Community.

Our prototype engineering and fabrication center is positioned to address customer manufacturing needs that require high engineering content and specialty machining. Our center is optimized to cover all elements of the design, manufacturing, fabrication and assembly value stream for the low-rate-high-mix sector. We can build to print or build from part. We have the capacity to perform complicated machining for parts with complex geometries and undercuts with travels ranging up to 120”. This is essential for producing high tolerance tooling vital for producing high quality metal parts for the aerospace and defense sector.
