The security administrator position supports the Bureau of Diplomatic Security's, Office of Personnel Security and Suitability. The Office manage's the the State Department's personnel security clearance program.  Chosen candidates will be directly involved in project support and counterintelligence investigative analysis.  General duties include: Related activities to support the availability, reliability and integrity of the Department's Counterintelligence investigations; Providing professional support to the Department of State program for the protection of Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). This includes, but is not limited to, supporting periodic security reviews (PSRs), SCI and collateral training, and processing personnel for access to SCI; Supporting the Division Manager and members of the team in routine office administration, personnel, financial, database administration, and project requirements; Coordinating within the division and with departments throughout the agency; Database software experience required; Microsoft (MS) Project experience a plus; Communicating effectively both in writing and verbally with all levels of personnel; Working with the public. Functional responsibilities include: Providing administrative support tor status reports, briefing presentations, and special projects; Tracking projects via work breakdown structures Preparing charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in tracking and reporting program activities; Assisting in technical and programmatic input to support client briefings, status reports, and deliverable preparation; Coordinating and assisting office personnel in completing tasks within the following areas: security/clearance processing, timesheet reporting, purchasing, travel, training, material reproduction, inventory, etc. Assisting/reviewing the preparation of all reports and tracking documents to include budgets, monthly reports, travel expense reports, and personnel tracking, etc. MMA is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce. McManis Monsalve & Associates (MMA)  is currently recruiting for a Cyber Security Specialist :  in support of a contract with the Department of State at our Rosslyn, VA location.  Position is full-time, exempt. The  positions supports the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). The Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) is a Federal Advisory Committee with a U.S. Government Charter to promote security cooperation between American private-sector interests worldwide and the U.S. Department of State, situated within the Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Security.  Selected candidate will provide support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the Research and Information Support Center (RISC).     The main objective is to provide services through performance of managing security projects with the purpose of providing security and cyber-threat-related information, analysis and advice to U.S. private sector companies and organizations operating abroad and Americans living or traveling overseas. Principal Duties and Responsibilities :   Manage security projects within assigned area of responsibility Develop, prepare, and forward responses to written or telephonic requests for information security and cyber concerns from OSAC members and over 4,500 OSAC constituent organizations including U.S. corporations, educational institutions, faith-based and non-governmental organizations Maintain a working dialogue on international security, information security, and cyber threat matters with appropriate officials of the State Department's regional/functional bureaus, Foreign Service posts, private sec­tor organizations and security professionals, and over 150 OSAC Country Councils around the world Conduct information security and cyber threat analysis for OSAC.  Work with U.S. government partners and private sector constituents to properly advise and communicate issues which affect OSAC constituents Perform research and produce timely information briefs and other analytical products for publication on OSAC’s website ( www.osac.gov ) and for presentation to senior U.S. government officials and groups, private sector officials and groups, and OSAC Country Councils. As required, coordinate OSAC-related ac­tivities and provide professional presentations to the OSAC Executive Council and Committees Scan and assess various public and private information sources including DOS telegrams, news media, and private industry research for relevancy as potential source of OSAC website material.
