Access Control Officer for Veteran Solutions, Inc. ACCESS CONTROL OFFICER The Access Control Officer shall provide access control services to SOCSOUTH's main Headquarters via a central access control point with video monitoring of all entrances and egresses. Employee will provide access control to the main headquarters building 24 hours, seven days a week, twelve months a year, with sufficient manning. The access control database tracks the clearance status of visiting and permanent party personnel. • Daily update, populate, and maintain a LENEL database to maintain accountability of access control badges. The LENEL database is distinct from the access control database, in that the LENEL database is designed for badge control as opposed to clearance verification. • Coordinate with SOCSOUTH J2 Command Security Manager for monthly preventive maintenance and emergency service and repair of the LENEL access control system badging computer system. • Provide customer service at the main access control point to the SOCSOUTH Headquarters during normal duty hours, Monday through Friday. Customer service includes welcoming and directing visitors, issuing access control badges, and briefing visitors on SOCSOUTH procedures and requirements, to include escort requirements, protection of classified information, and use of media and electronic devices. • Ensure personnel possess appropriate clearance in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) prior to the issuance of SOCSOUTH access badges.
