About the job In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales strategy for Wiley's Employability and Training business in Malaysia to maximise all sales opportunities and deliver on overall revenue targets. Stakeholders include Government agencies responsible for education, upskilling and training of the workforce, training institutions, industry associations and major corporates. This means you will identify, nurture and close complex, high-level deals which will drive our business transformation strategy and achieve significant revenue growth. As part of the process, you will also craft business proposals that meet the needs of our clients and conduct presentations to key stakeholders. You will pay careful attention to our present activities in the marketplace, while simultaneously scanning the market to provide insights into key strategies based on trends and expectations for the future. About you To succeed in the role, you will need a solid track record of achieving revenue targets through high-level solution selling. It is desirable if you have experience selling technical solutions to the education/training industry or have established relationships with senior executives in Higher Education and Professional Education institutions/providers, related government agencies or trade associations in Malaysia. On top of all these, you are collaborative and a natural communicator, able to develop meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
