Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing many functions of trading operations including analysis, managing client portfolios in a highly accurate manner consistent with the mandate for each portfolio, and trading. Minimizing financial losses by identifying and resolving trade errors in a timely manner. Maintain proper procedures and controls for the managed account trading operations to mitigate risks and increase profitability of the product. Processing trades and communicating with multiple sponsor related activities simultaneously. Reconciling client positions and cash with each partner firm. Researching and resolving trade issues, breaks and disputes. Analyzing detailed daily logs generated by internal optimizing systems for potential system alerts regarding pricing, reconciliation and tax lot issues. Developing and exhibiting superior decision making skills. Collaborating with internal and external sources to develop effective solutions and enhancements. Monitoring Trade Blotter to determine trades for Managed Accounts Reviewing and approving client initiated trade requests (i.e. withdrawals and / or deposits) Required Qualifications 5+ years of investment operations experience Desired Qualifications Customer service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending customer issues/needs, and recommending solutions Extensive knowledge and understanding of cash (domestic and international and physical securities (DTC) settlements) Solid knowledge and understanding of US commodity, equity, and interest rate markets Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills Ability to review and understand ISDA Master and Credit Support Annex agreements Ability to learn and assimilate information from multiple people and sources Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment Other Desired Qualifications A high level of problem solving skills able to identify when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and takes proactive approach to getting resolution.
