KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES Customer Service Front line contact for all incoming calls Process all orders for assigned customers Communicates with customers, brokers and sales associates. Maintain broker contact spreadsheet Maintain /distribute Kosher Certificates Investigates customer concerns Track customer pricing Update Monthly Commodity Based Pricing changes Assist with nutritional requests and maintaining a shared nutritional information database. Administrative Management of all: office supplies, UPS supplies, printing supplies (letterhead, business cards, etc.) Responsibility for acting as liaison on telephone equipment, phone and internet service. Maintenance of physical office properties including interface with building maintenance company for maintenance related issues. Accounting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable (Cash Application), Debit Memos and Credit Memos, Check Run and Mailing, paying brokers, record deposits and disbursements on excel spreadsheet, customer invoicing when applicable, answering phones as back up. Initiates investigation of any discrepancy on payments of Invoices Prepare credit memo for rebates Manage and distribute changes to price lists and allowance spreadsheets Implement price changes via mailings to customers, brokers, and region manager. Function as point of contact for pricing questions from brokers, customers, and region manager. Entry and maintenance of all database information in the software system. All other duties as assigned including back-up support for other associates. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Minimum High school diploma. Associate's degree in Business (Finance or Accounting) preferred. Minimum one year of customer service experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills (interpersonal skills). Demonstrated problem-solving skills and trouble-shooting skills. Demonstrated ability to multitask and work with little direction. Demonstrated ability to work in a team atmosphere. Strong PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
