May mix concrete or mortar using portable mixer. Mops, brushes or spreads paint or bituminous compounds over services and applies caulking compound by hand or with caulking gun to seal surfaces. Lifts, carries and holds building materials and supplies, levels earth to fine grade using pick and shovel and measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes and stretches tight line Grinds, sands and polishes surfaces such as concrete or wood Cleans tools, equipment, materials and work area Operate hand and power tools Perform job clean-up When not performing the above essential duties and responsibilities, may assist in other operations as designated by the supervisor Specific Equipment and Materials to be used : Carpenter’s hand tools, small/medium/large power tools, bench tools (saw, drill, grinder), concrete saw, chipper, sander, paving reaker, jackhammer Safety Policies and Practices : The employee in this job must be knowledgeable about and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as described in the company’s safety manual.
