The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company. The Compliance Strategy & Operations Group is responsible for building out a centralized compliance risk management function, where best practices are established and leveraged throughout the Compliance organization. The compliance strategy and operations team is seeking an experienced professional to support more consistent execution of compliance risk management activities, reduction of duplication, effective use of resources and a strong, fit for purpose compliance organization. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Partner and support of compliance initiatives across the Strategy and Operations team, including working with partners to drive Compliance Learning Program initiative goals, requirements, milestones, action items, accountabilities and assist with execution across Wells Fargo Compliance. Provide oversight in the integration/implementation of programs with cross functional business partners, recognizing the significance of competing priorities and strategies, and adjusting as necessary. Perform or assist with ad hoc assignments/projects. Assist with applying proper governance over Compliance learning policy including process for prioritization of training, drivers of training, communication and other means of delivering content. Partner with Learning and Development to execute on compliance learning plan for each respective line of business, specialized courses, and risk transformation. Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience in compliance, operational risk management (includes audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, or the management of a process or business with accountability for compliance or operational risk), or a combination of both; or 6+ years of IT systems security, business process management or financial services industry experience, of which 3+ years must include direct experience in compliance, operational risk management, or a combination of both Desired Qualifications Advanced Microsoft Office skills Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to interact with all levels of an organization Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives Experience consulting, influencing and partnering with business executives, leadership, human resources partners and peers Experience developing integrated communications strategies and plans that align with business objectives Other Desired Qualifications 3+ years of strategic planning experience 3+ years experience in developing integrated communications strategies.
