The Tractor / Trailer Technician is responsible for the company's performance in terms of efficient and effective and timely repairs and maintenance on the Transport fleet. The Technician is expected to be a team player in the Maintenance Department. They must be able to diagnose and repair recurring problems and effectively communicate these to other members of the Maintenance Team. Key Responsibilities: • Maintenance: Involves working safely and performing preventative maintenance on all equipment in the fleet. On a daily basis, the Technician is responsible for performing maintenance on all equipment, this involves diagnosing problems that are found during these inspections and proscribing the correct remedial action. • Repairs: Involves performing repairs that are diagnosed during the pre/post trip or quick check inspection and preventative maintenance.
